What is logged

When you visit, the site records standard technical details about the visit: your IP address, browser and device information (user agent, screen size, language, time zone, connection type), the page you viewed, the page that referred you, how long you stayed, and which outbound links you clicked. A random identifier is stored in your browser so repeat visits can be recognised.

Why

To understand how the site is used, keep it secure, and see which content people find useful. The legal basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests.

Retention and sharing

Logs are held on the web server and are not sold or shared with third parties. They are periodically deleted.
